Application crash in Act 1 after getting to town

Same story. 40k in front. Wait to log, clear beach go into town, speak to Nesse, go to Tarkley, speak to him, and when I was getting my reward, crash. Try to log in again, wait foe 3k people in front, crash on logging into town. Tried a third time, get into town, make one step towards Good 'ol Tarkley and crash. Fully restarted PC, start steam, wait for another 2-3k players and you guessed it, crash.

I guess I'm not playing PoE today. Let's hope it gets fixed. As an European I was happy to see the earlier hour for the release, but what's the point if I can't play because of crashes. Weirdest thing is I could have sword I'be had this exact problem either last league or the league before that. But I must be imagining thing, GGG wouldn't be that incompetent.

Try change sound qty to low

since I got nothing else to do, I tried all 4 engines. dx11 dx 12 and vulcan. Crashes on all of them after a couple of seconds.

Same here crashing for over 30 minutes now

me and my friend can't enter the game anymore, it crashed in Act1 and now it keeps crashing on entry, the game just exits. Help

Have crashed only 12 times now within an hour. Killed Brutus and immediately dc'ed 3 times in a row after trying to sell stuff... It's not that bad... Surely has been tested extensively as per usual. Killing Brutus in 50 minutes is the new :)

Crashes on interactive with NPCs in town for me

Still crashing 4/5 times when entering Lion eyes watch...

Probably someone's MTX, since I was standing and selling junk when game just crashed. So not something in town, but something that happens.... eg. someone with broken mtx entering town.

7 times in a row... even instantly after login...

Yep, I've been crashed out 3 times now.
