SSF isnt only mode that woud get much better. I bet A LOT of new people left PoE permamently because they started the game w/o a guide, the got to maps, started struggling. Went to the internet, asked for help and someone said "your build shit, you need to remake it from zero". SO now he need like 80 orb of scouring (whuch for new player is insane amount). So what will happen? He leaves.

i think the current implementation is good IF you're an oldschool gamer playing in 2000s.

but no we're now in 2020.

i believe that GGG should also change and adapt a different approach.

TLI and Undecember actually have similar approaches to this issue.

in TLI, UNTIL you hit level 80, you can fully respec as many times as you want. but once you hit 80 it can get suddenly expensive. just to share how its like over there, you have 3 skill trees. you cant remove a single point but you need to fully respec whichever tree you want. so if you you have 40 points in a particular tree, it would take 40 regrets. if you 10 points in a different tree, only 10 regrets.

in Undecember you have free resets UNTIL you kill the final campaign boss.
you can only purchase full resets, which are more expensive based on your level. but is still OK as they use regular "gold" system.

It is 2023 so why not give me level 100 on character creation on league start. Respect my time GGG /s
