Transfigured Gems - Why only one source to get them - not very SSF friendly, eternal lab not popular

Gating hundreds of these core item in LAB is really sucks.

1) LAB you have 1hp, in other words, if you DC, you f up, even if you are standing in front of the Font

2) It requires ETERNAL LAB that need the basic goddess token. Those things are much more rare than freaking Blueprints. Which if you to point (1). DC and not only waste your time, but you also waste a freaking token.

3) LAB is boring and outdated.

If you consider point (1) & (2) alone, the gems prices are probably gonna be much more expensive than majority of alternates. It's that much rarer.

At the very least, you know what you are going for in Heist. There are wings that have nice rewards in Blueprints.

LAB offers almost NOTHING else.

Even some unique have been removed from Reward Room Chests. It almost forcing you to full clear LAB for each run if you are farming those. That is a terrible matchup for gems farming.

GGG has said you can get trans gems in normal lab.

Points 1 and 2 are both false, and point 3 is completely subjective.

There are legitimate objections to putting the new gems in the lab, but these ain't them, Chief.

I'm with OP. Labs is outdated and the most boring content in the game. Labs should have been removed with the enchants. Enchants was the only good thing about the lab, though with very poor implementation. There is nothing in the game I hate doing more than running the labs.

Heist was okay place for alt gems, perhpas not the best, but there were other venues as well - harvest recepies, beasts, ultimatum, vall maps whatever.

I also preferred the olden model of alt gems... new ones seem meh.
