Transfigured Gems - Why only one source to get them - not very SSF friendly, eternal lab not popular

I think moving grand spectrum jewels away from final chests is worse than this. They are already fucking idiotic in price, with this change what is going to be the asking price for frenzy charge spectrum? A mirror?!

Most players that will play labs will speedrun labs to get to the font and farm gems. Very few will explore it and farm troves within the lab itself.

Exactly. This is a huge buff to SSF. Trade players can say I basically got my helm enchant on the gem and lost the gem's original quality effect in return but SSF cannot reliably get their optimal helm enchants currently.

I agree. Putting things is LAB is a bad idea and here why.

LAB is very long and u have 1 single life.

That means, Internet Disconnection (which I frequent) is a horror.

I hate LAB so much because of this single reason. The internets in my place is damn bad that it's typical to disconnect for 10-15sec. With 1 life of LAB run, the need of Token to enter. LAB is extremely difficult for me to run and enjoy.

Also, LAB is bad for certain build like leech build due to traps. This means everyone kinda need a build for LAB running.

Seriously, I hope transfigured gem have decent price and I'm just buy the off others.

As mentioned, you only need to run Normal Lab for this. There is no need for a token to enter. If you are really bad at lab and keep dying to traps, just use Arakaali Major God and Ralakesh Minor God for your lab run. The traps do practically no damage when you have those, even on a squishy character with no physical mitigation.

i personally think lab is boring and is a huge slog.

BUT on the flipside, i rather do labs rather than heists.

the argument i m seeing is "i dont want to do exclusive content X to get exclusive content x reward".

thats why i trade. i save up and buy it from trade. i dont want to deal with heist.

if i were playing in SSF i would be forced to do heist to get alt quality gems.

exclusive rewards are the main draw GGG places to force players to run different content.

want catalysts? run meta/ultimatum

want fossils? delve

want essence? run essence

want double corrupts? run incursions

you're definitely forced to do it.

but GGG did give players a "way out". which is trade.

what you're not forced to do is play in SSF. thats entirely on you. thats a challenge you signed up for.

you chose to give up the right to trade for your bragging rights.

They were SSF friendly when they were locked behind Heist and completely random?!

I'm surprised a 1/2 chance to get a specific Alternate Gem from any lab difficulty is less SSF friendly...

I've been playing ssfhc for many years now, as I see it, the trans gems are something I might make a build for, if I get them. I am just not very excited for any of them. What can I do with a crackling lance optimized for single target when it can't clear? Do I swap every time I fight an essence?
A big boon for ssf is the prospect of easy exceptional gems, especially enlighten, which I am hoping will be a reasonably common find from the font.
The real problem with ssf is the inability to farm build defining items. If I spend all my polished divination scarabs at Fields let me get the Voltaxic Rift... nope, the cards won't drop.
