The new Dual Strike is baaaad

Somebody did not think this through, but not a big deal considering the amount of gems they had to change. I mean cmon it's dual strike.
Some other melee build with trans gem will go through the roof probably. Or just do the Boneshatter thingy.

The Tornado shot gem is great for players on a budget(40 div helm enchant on a gem at the cost of some projectile damage, lol), but bad for the meta game(At least in my opinion).
Lightning Arrow also stronger now. Maybe they just don't want an outrage, so they thought: "Ah well, 20% bow meta, could be worse. Let's please them some more."^^
that does look amazingly bad.

i'm just happy they buffed frenzy, 14% more attack speed and damage at 20% quality and 7 frenzy charges (which is what i usually get as frenzy charges ) its pretty good imo

that could be the deal ya. crit is not a low level mechanic, its a more advanced endgame thing, maybe the trans gem is actually a boatload of crit madness. they did say they would be more about stats you have to build into but once you build into them their power potential is potentially a lot higher.

they say lots of stuff. you can go and check some 'alt' gems theyve announced already

check the Double Strike of something

tell me how does removal of ~150 added flat can be compensated with that Impale gimmick

40% impale chance
40% impale effect
KILLING blows do something. Killing. Blows.

so vs bosses you get an auto attack with strong impales but lacking ~150flat added phys regular version has

no matter how you spin it, it is mediocre

the other example: Random Bladestorm. it is actually good because it removes one fiddly bit. but i do not see how you can 'build into it'


im sure you can build into alt spells and minions. but melee gems so far are all garbage
