the enemies need to be scaled down in high rank so you're not reduced to being a mere distraction for your team at the very least. This doesn't even cover the fact that rewards would need to be nerfed so it doesn't grossly inflate the economy like it did this league.

In your opinion that's how you think the mechanic is supposed to be played, but for most people, it's unintuitive and goes against literally everything else that you do in the game. I'm sure GGG would've come out and said something if we weren't playing it right the whole time. And let's not forget the number of times they nerfed mechanics mid-league to discourage players from treating themselves like distractions (multi-knockback) before just giving up. Yeah no, that needs to be addressed.

Secondly, the league is absolutely rewarding. Between it and Sanctum, the market was flooded with divine orbs to the point that their value was more inflated than we've seen in many leagues prior. Nevermind the huge influx of Headhunters and Magebloods.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

They will bring tota back after standard tattoos run out and whales complain. That is the three or four tattoos people actually want.

Tota was a bad mechanic on my opinion.

Very bad scaling and balance

Tons of bugs that became features

Them nerfing knockback was the funniest thing. It is like one of the few cheeses nuked from orbit. The only other I can think of was the winter orb mine flame wall duration interaction on the dot.

Forced into content a build can't do with no quick option of returning to safety.

Loot just wasn't there for me. Especially later in the league.

A lot of menuing that didn't really change anything. For example I would have enjoyed it more if we could move our teams totems around (not just telling the game what the totems are.)

Tattoos are extremely underwhelming. What I hope they do is let us craft tattoos via essences or oils. Just combine like 3 leagues that are fairly cheap in the economy and boom.

That being said it wouldn't be hard to readd it. But I would rather have lake and reflections first. Like I think it was bad but I can see why people enjoyed it. Making it more approachable would go a very long way for improving it.

ggg always lets players figure out what works knockback got nerfed because it was absolutely broken for no budget at all at least a void sphere building still needs to invest in ways to increase the AoE and pulse frequency to make it actually good the gem itself is more expansive than an entire knockback build costed everybody already showed that the dvi/h from tota wasn't anything extraordinary the only reason it looked like it is because divines were a relatively common drop if for those who finished tournaments in 10 or less minutes making the mechanic look like it makes amazing currency
