Lack of responce on ban questions

Even after "investigation" you're still can remain banned without any further explanations, at least that what happened in our case.
We also lost access to the banned account, they unassigned the Steam connection, and there was no email, so the whole thing is now inaccessible and set to private on all pages :\ Last edited by potato_princeass#2259 on Nov 19, 2023, 9:49:22 AM

I fully understand that just because I ask for them to relook into everything, does not automatically mean that my account will be unbanned.
But when I got banned I was literally standing in my hideout moving maps from 1 tab to another, doing (or running) anything out of the ordinary, using no programs, or doing nothing that I have not been doing for years in POE, so even if my account stays banned, and if I then decide to play on another account, I kinda need to know why on earth I suddenly got banned, doing nothing new, else I'd just end up getting banned once more which isn't exactly something I'm looking to do. |

" I understand, and I do sympathise with your predicament. If it helps at all - having worked in the industry, I can tell you no game studio out there is going to issue immediate bans. After your account gets flagged, you could be waiting hours, days, weeks (or in rare cases longer) before the account gets actioned. Think of people cheating, or using bot programs. Imagine how valuable it would be to the creators of such programs if they had a ~5 minute window in which they know something the in-game character did attracted attention and resulted in punishment. Studios always seek to obfuscate when they decide to ban any one account; the fact you were online at the time a ban wave went out is sheer coincidence - most people find out about bans at the log in screen because they were banned while they were asleep / at work / in school / spending time with friends / etc. |

" Yeah, I know, but I haven't changed anything or installed anything for like a year or two, so I don't understand what happened, I haven't botted or anything. So I'm really just looking for an answer from GGG to either say that they made a mistake or tell me what exactly the issue is, I've always been very careful to stick to the whole "1 server action pr user action". |

" Again, we are in the exact same situation that's actually crazy. I also was just chilling in hideout (moving compasses) then got manually banned by admin. I've yet to receive a response via email after sending my account names so if I get a different reply I'll let you know. |
