Awakened Gems?

Good morning,

The English is from G00gle...

I don't do any trading. The only way to farm Awakened Gems for me is to play "Maven's Invitation". I can't play maps "The Eater of Worlds" or "The Searing Exarch" because no "Awakened Gems" drop there. But in order to progress further in the game I need the gems. It gets boring after a while.

Couldn't the "Awakened Gems" also be dropped there?

your characters are not SSF so you could do trading. if you choose not to then thats on you. IMO just buy the gems if your build really needs it

But I don't want to trade. Then I don't enjoy the game. :-)

This game has lots of different content but most of that content has loot that's specific to that content and that you can't get elsewhere. Awakened Gems are one of those things. If you want them, farm Maven related stuff or trade for them. No other option atm and i wouldn't hold my horses in hopes of GGG changing that.

That said, you can combine them to some degree. Personally i run eater maps to drop guardian maps, then run those guardian maps along with the invitations under Maven influence as well as Maven.

You don't need the gems. They are a nice bump in power but not necessary.

No build "needs" awakened gems for anything below Ubers. And for what it's worth, farming a SPECIFIC awakened gem is virtually impossible anyway so you really should consider trade if you can't do without.

Ok then I'll put it this way. I would like the gems as a bonus. ;-) And I think it would be nice if these also dropped in the other two encounters.

Maven is not the only way to get the gems. You can also get them from Sirus.

Only from Uber Sirus sadly, not from the normal version, they nerfed that.

Yep. But that's still 4 ways to get them--Maven witness, Maven invites, Maven herself, and Uber Sirus.
