Awakened Gems?

ALL lvl 83+ bosses should have the chance to drop awakened gems. It's ridiculous that these would be limited to SPECIFIC bosses like Maven.

They drop every once in a while from invitations, if you don't want to farm the Maven Boss. Do invitations, get the atlas passive destructive play. That is where they drop, those are rules of the game you have to play by...Getting them to lvl 5 is more difficult than getting them to drop, lol. I haven't killed enough monsters to get one to lvl 5 this league, seems to take forever, but i got plenty of random awakened gems from random invitations.

If you play SSF i would consider farming invitations with one of those nice league starter builds that don't need much gear or only need gear that can be crafted in ssf with some effort, like cold dot or boneshatter and then make a build related to the awakened gems that drop. Everything else i can't imagine makes sense. GGG won't make a patch were they just drop in yellow maps, obv.

You can btw skipp all the content of the maps and rush to the boss, do the Maven Witnesses, so you get invitations real quick. I am pretty sure i got several gems jsut from lousy 10 map boss invitations...So easy game, nn Maven Boss fight, if u don't want to.

I guess that would help out a little once you got her there and you get safehouse points from the atlas passives for finishing maps. Gonna try it out next time i really want to lvl up an awakened gem.

It can take an absurdly long time, but it's doable if you get the awakened early enough.

There is also a beast recipe, that increases the level on awakened gems by 1. Really helps to be able to take them from 4 > 5 almost instantly. You need the right harvest beast ofc, which is no picnic to get to either.
