how do you sustain mana?

is +10 from terminus enough?
ara va de bo, que de bo va!
I have to report, with the new Australian portal, I can actually play this build really well now, and even on harder maps attributes too, on a steady 30 ping desync barely happens and it feels like a new game :)

Been able to run 10+ maps with no deaths! Some kind of record for me on this build I think.

I don't actually use terminus anymore; mana sustain is from both mana leech passive (2% leech) + mana potion gets me through. The kill speed is fast enough that I can basically continually chug mana potions, however the phys damage is so high mana return is practically always maxed out at 20%/sec.

12.5% per second Leech + 1.75% per second normal regen.

Life leech
Spoiler
These passives add life leech to attacks as a percentage of physical damage dealt.

The regeneration rate of life gained from life leech is capped at 20% of maximum life per second. If you have 1000 maximum life, and leech 600 life with a single attack, it will take three seconds for that life to be applied to your current life. You always get the full amount of life leeched, it is only the rate at which it regenerates that is capped - if you leech a large amount of life during a battle, you may find that the regeneration continues long after the battle is over. Similar to flasks, the regeneration from leech will stop if you reach maximum life.

Mana Leech
Spoiler

The regeneration rate of mana gained from mana leech is capped at 12.5% of maximum mana per second. If you have 1000 maximum mana, and leech 500 mana with a single attack, it will take four seconds for that mana to be applied to your current mana. You always get the full amount of mana leeched, it is only the rate at which it regenerates that is capped - if you leech a large amount of mana during a battle, you may find that the regeneration continues long after the battle is over. Got my hands on a Abysuss and upped my dps to 24k, unspecced some damage nodes in favour of armour nodes to try and deal with physical reflect (I still alsmot one-shot myself though - thanks GGG).

22k at the moment, mostly due to Abysuss - insane damage at the cost of one shotting yourself on any kind of reflect mobs. Frenzy does ~16k buffed.

Spoiler

I've updated my gear in the main thread since most of it has changed from when I posted originally if you want to check that out.

other stats:
12k armour (auras only - not including the armour from frenzy charges)
3k life
+19% chaos resistance
78% all other resistances

Hihi =) Starting a new Ranger today to give this build a shot, I'm pretty piss poor in terms of currency to fund high end gear but this build looks fun enough to keep me going for a while. I oughta have a decent amount more loot to fund gear by the time I reach merciless anyways.

It seems like the new patch will help this build out quite a bit, but my question is whether or not Malachai's is necessary, and whether or not you need Hatred/Vitality.
Also, how do you maintain Frenzy charges without Terminus if you aren't 1 shotting everything with Blood Rage up? I think I am missing something :O
