Don't see the reason for this existing other than the resists. I don't think anyone would honestly use this as a weapon but just as a shield since the resists are so high.
GGG gives me Diablo 2 Teleport? I give them 50 bucks. No questions asked.

It's actually pretty viable as a placeholder if you're farming with 2 x Andvarius rings as it negates the negative resists, until you can afford better gear.

" Ancestral Bond and Summoner builds. I often dual weild two of them, because then with the purity aura I can easily max out resistances at 85% without ever investing in a single all resist node. Since I don't need all resist on any of my gear, this also makes all my other pieces of gear EXCEPTIONALLY cheap because gear without any resistances are considered quite crappy. |

" The reduced rarity doesn't really cause any problems, because since you don't need to stack resistances, you can uze a Gold Ring to counter-act the stat loss. The build I run that has two of these runs an andvarius because I still end up with 40% all resist, while also getting a beautiful +40% item rarity. |
