You can find good items without having to trade if you farm with high IIR/IIQ. The three best items I have I got from farming Catacombs and Lunaris:
This sword worths nothing at the market but is pretty powerful at start - requires no lvl,high resists,nice dmg,rarity.A good weapon for the very beginning.

I think you might be mad. May want to go relax a bit, bud.
might not be worth much in terms of high currency, but this is one of those items you want to keep if you ever want to make a new character to help progress until merciless.

Sadly there's only 1 weapon that increases rarity.

1 CHAOS on a good day. 1 Alch usually. I just vendor the crap. But like someone said, they sold for 2 gcp, theres noobs out there that do NOT know price and if you are lucky to take advantage of one go ahead and sell for more than its worth.
