One shots don't trigger the bleed explosion

I have 85% chance to bleed + bleed pops from glad + i inflict vulnerability on enemies so i have 100%+ chance to bleed, and yet sometimes it feels like bleed is not inflicted on enemies and won't explode


This happen with Earthquake's initial hit, when i one shot the enemy, it doesn't seem to get bleeding and as a result won't explode

Any chance you run into the map mod:

"xx% chance to avoid bleed/poison"

That paired with the keystone wondering path and the small modifier notes in the atlas tree can get the modifier up to 100% chance to avoid bleed/poison.


But this is just a guess.
I'm not yet at maps, i'm still in the acts, i don't think this modifier exist during acts

I'll do more testing tomorow and record a video, that'll give me an opportunity to actually see things in slow motion
Well ok, didn't know that.

But i'm pretty sure, that bleed is applied before an enemy dies, even if you oneshot it, therefor the bleed pop should work.

This is how it works with bleeding/poison. If an effect requires you to kill poisoned/bleeding enemies and you inflict the ailment by killing hit, the effect won't proc.

Elemental ailments work fine with such conditional effects. There's no info from GGG on this as far as I know.

Ohh... that sucks, time to reroll something else..
if it works with other ailment, then it should work with bleed, no wonder it's in a poor state

please fix GGG

I came across a situation where enemy was bleeding, but didn't explode at death


interaction with initial hit / after shock seems bugged
I keep level and it feel so bad to play, Bleed is flawed with big hits like slams, you no longer get the satisfying pops, and when played with hollow palm (like i'm doing), due to lack of AOE, i was expecting i could rely on reliable bleed pops, nope, can't...

I wonder why nobody complained about it, instead the collective let Gladiator rot.. how sad, complain with me and get it fixed, let's go
