League mechanic too hard

Something is not to hard just because one, ten, hundred or more than thousand cant "complete it". You will hit that wall in Delve one time or another. This game is not designed for all players to "finish" it. There are Life is Strange for those - A fantastic game!

This statement is only true...if you could control what rank you face. When you increase in rank every time you win OR LOSE, with no ability to retreat to an easier difficulty...it is not designed for really anybody except the best of the best.

You hit the wall...but then you have no means to get over the wall. You can't farm lower levels, you can't practice, you can't do anything except lose. And then it gets harder again, even if you very clearly haven't figured out how to do it.

How does it make sense to punish failure by making the next encounter even more difficult?

the guy who plays mirror gear tornado shot every league? yeah if he can do it then so can the rest of us!

Did you watch the video? Nowhere in his demonstration does it suggest you need TShot or a facemelting build to complete the league content. Literally the dude gets 1shot if something sneezes on him. And no, he doesn't instakill the enemy either.

Ähhhm, he did play TS again. So the question is if YOU had watched the video. ^^ The next thing is that he starts at about rank 1700 I believe what makes the video completely worthless for people that struggle with the beginning when you only have those 3 sad fucks as teammates!

Him playing a TS build doesn't mean you need a TS build to do what he's doing. Again, he's getting 1shot while not doing any 1shots himself.

I think that's the disconnect here. People continue to believe that you need a facemelting build even though Grimro is showing that your strategy is supposed to be distracting the enemy units while your own sneak in and take totems. The truth is that high rank Trials boils down to you distracting and kiting enemies instead of confronting them directly.

The trick to winning the starting rounds when you only have 3 units is to make sure they're on the flanker role. Again, distract the enemy and keep them occupied while they sneak in and banish totems.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
And then back here in objective reality, far from the fantasy of the forums, your flankers will lose 3v1 to a single defender because they're objectively better than your units while you're soloing the rest of the enemy by yourself. And the match will drag on into a long slog for that sweet, sweet reward of five orbs of regret. Or maybe you purposely lose to then switch to a different part of the game, or log out and play a different game entirely. One that's better designed.
There is no strategy his build is just juiced lol

I also didn't say he was one shotting the enemies so I don't know why you seem to be pretending like I did. Its rather strange

Edit: I see the benevolent forum gods are deleting things and that's why its not making sense. Just sweep people's frustration under the rug. Appreciate you GGG

Eh, to be fair, I was little too aggressive in my posts so I reckon that's largely why it all got deleted and leaving us with a broken convo that's now missing context.

Oh well. Still stand by what I said and once I finish all these blight maps I got, I'm gonna try running Grimro's strategy. Turns out Fieldmaster units are OP for their sheer versatility, so long as you tolerate your game looking like the aftermath of a Fortnite session.

With all that said, what do you expect GGG to do in this situation? Trials has an infinite scaling difficulty mechanic that we haven't seen since Delve. They can make all the nerfs to enemies as you want, but eventually you're going to wind up in the same situation again sooner or later. The solution to this problem isn't going to be nerfing the enemies, because there's no possible end to it, but rather adopting a winning strategy using the mechanics of the league.

Say what you want about Grimro's strategy guide, but at least he's the only one that I've seen that actually presented a solution. And trust me, I looked. All the videos I've found only teach you the basics, but no "how do I deal with this high rank bullshit" strategies.

Yeah alright. Sometimes you cannot win. You just cannot. THe phys slam guy one shots all my defenders. Literally.

Cant win against him. Never suceeded. NEVER.
Im really getting tired of the "Your not playing it correctly" lines. That makes a giant assumption that all builds can play like that or that all players can react the same. Just because some can "cheese" it does not mean in any context that the game is balanced. This mechanic has a serious need to be balanced.

And I am really tired of all those "whining because they can", and probably don't want to put the effort needed!

If I play a game and cant be a specific mechanic I either put more time in to beat it or dont. Alternative is I quit playing it. Simple! But as long the "rules" are the same in that mechanic it is fine.
