I mean, I've never been particularly interested in "Druid" gameplay. Druids in Diablesque ARPGs are always just weirdly restrictive elementalism bolted onto shapeshifting with absolutely no relation or crossover between the two very different skillsets. Path 2 is probably the first time those two skillsets have had even the slightest interplay, and even then it just feels weird. if I want to blast people with fire and lightning I'll play a Sorceress; if I want to be a shapeshifting murderess I'll play a Ranger/Huntress with the shapeshifting Ascendancy.

I mostly was pointing out an example of how different even just semi-competent play looked compared to the mostly-random flailing we saw in ExileCon. Mob packs went down just fine, and the boss got chunked and dealt with at a perfectly reasonable pace.

I thought that it looked really cool :)

It has potential, but Chris is kind of on the arrogant side and their stated design philosophy towards several major changes for POE2 has me worried.

I won't outright condemn it before release, but I don't have any hype either.
