Thirteen minutes of Druid gameplay from Gamescon.
Note: player knew what the Druid skills were, how to make them work, and how this particular array of skills was supposed to perform together. Player had no trouble dealing with the mobs in the Isle of Kin even in dense* packs, and chunked twenty percent of the Blind Beast's health bar with one decently executed Volcano combo. We kept telling you - ExileCon streamer showcases was early, overtuned gameplay being run by people who have no idea what they're doing because they're playing Path of Exile 2 the exact same way they'd play PoE1. Does it require more clicking than a Path of Exile 1 build? Sure. Was this 'fast' compared to the rocket-racoon lollerskates nonsense of path 1? still slow at this level and prob even slower and higher levels
looks exactly as D$ alrdy off-putting (just dont like visual style) combo combat system, need to use 3-4 skills to get good damage. mob packs looks dam small. prob will be good game, prob will try and play, and its not poe anymore no matter how i look at it |

I am currently playing knights of the old republic out of nostalgia and frankly even the fights there are faster than that showcase. But you are right, that's not scuffed ruthless. That is full on slowed down ruthless.

Wowwwww, the game looks amazing! I really love the fast paced gameplay of PoE1 but I am very excited to play something different with PoE2 <3

The most concern I have is that I heard "it will be less complicated, now people don't understand when upgraging gear and have a color combination (f ex 2b, 1g, 1r) on boots like that, and the new ones have a different combination, so that why we redo the gem system".
I might be wrong, but this is just one step closer to make the game "easier" for [removed by whiners]. There is plenty of games already fot this group. They are like the pest, killing everything in thier way - actually both in game and the game it self :) I think what makes PoE a great game (imo) is that you need to think. Should I change the boots, I will get faster, I will also get higher cold resistance and I really need it. But I cant support my skill fully like now. I have 15 chroma, is it worth that to hope. Is the rng with me or not. I then make a decision. First big patch in PoE 2 will then be more loot, simplified skill tree and so on. In swedish - If you give your little pinky finger, they will take your whole arm - or somthing similar. It will risk ending up with the snowball effect, when it has starts rolling, it get bigger and bigger. I really hope I am wrong - but in this type of game, graphics, story, fighting scenes and things like this is always low priority for the true fans. As long as you have the power as the player to chose the path, there more or less is not needed to do big changes. It's more like small tweaking with loot that drops, common vs uncommon, making the skill tree more dynamic, maybe put in tiny fake jewels in a lot of the common nodes. Or have one server with a static skill tree and one with a hidden randomnized where you maybe only see two nodes in front of you. Freedom of choice. Like ruthless and hardcore and league. What is a bad server is the ssf, because it is not needed. You can ply like that at the normal ones. Yeah, almost ruthless too but there is a significant difference. In normals, where is the limit I need to make, was this to "good", to "coomon" or could I use it. So, ruthless Im fine with. There is plenty of times and I hoe the devs keep going on that track they started. If they wanna change to "easier", make the game as offline single player version too. Release a in game editor, then all people get almost total control of the most. I do understand PoE 2 will for certain attract more players because the net to catch the gamers will get bigger. Look at Diablo. Only class drops, easy skills, not much of a priority situation what to do. Drops are infinit. Yeah, all players feel like they get insanly good stuff - and they do, but is it a challange? Games don't get better just because everything gets easier and we all get superloot before smashing Hillock. Long text, dont read, I don't care! I write (my decision), you make yours!
