Kind of like most of the new support gems too....

What? A couple of them can probably be described as "useless", but most of them are pretty good, though also pretty niche and aren't just "slap into every existing builds and win".
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Already anticipating some of the gonzo shit people will come up with stacking Spellblade and Battlemage to add, what? 230% of their weapon's flat damage to their spell? Even I could make that work on the 40C Perpetual Poor budget.

Guardian's Blessing is a free aura on whatever random critter you can spare it on - and if you want to be cheeky/can't get the critter enough regen to sustain the aura, do it on a golem with the Elementalist nodes so it resummons itself four seconds after it expires to its own degen.

Sadism is a colossal DPS booster for DOT builds, with the drawback of more-or-less turning off the "Over Time" portion of it. You'll need to repply your DOT effects constantly, play more like a hit build, but you're a hit build with DOT scaling and immunity to a lot of the stuff that gives hit builds gas.

Fresh Meat provides some hefty boosts; already contemplating what a Skellingboi summoner might do with it. Get enough skill duration and you could have those buffs active for six or seven seconds on the critter spawning in, plenty of time for it to do a bunch of damage before you resummon the Skellingboi Flock and refresh the damage.

And Frigid Bond provides a chunk of cold DOT you can scale. It's pretty heavy stuff, even if actually applying that damage can get finicky.

Most of the new gems are meant to be "cool but janky", which is a direction I approve of. Support gems that don't change how a skill works at all are boring.

Much like Cassia's Pride not applying to Blighted maps.

useless keystone. blight encounters in maps are super easy....UNLESS they made them hard now, just so this keystone has a use
A useless keystone, amazing.
Yeah I was planning on making a character as a super-tank and running blighted maps with this passive for fun. While it can still be done without this keystone, you occasionally have to mow down an early lane if you got some bad RNG on the spawn points for towers and so you need the damage to clear. So now I've still got to make a build that doesn't rely on towers so there's no point in using this keystone...
*Never forgetting how good this game looked at 32:9 instead of 1/3 of my screen being black bars.*

If they are super easy blight maps are even easier so I don't really understand this statement :p

why would blight maps be easier? in maps there are only a few lanes, and maybe 1 boss and you only have to defend the pump for a short time. in blight maps the time is long and lots of lane and lots of bosses

Sadly, there's one reason why this keystone can't apply to blighted and blight-ravaged maps.

Bots. It would make botting way too easy.

This makes me feel like you don't run blight, blight maps are basically free - blight ravaged maps are free or impossible for normal builds entirely based on your tower layout when you spawn them which is a trait they share with regular maps.

When you start a blight map in a modded T16 and get 5 lanes with 5 bosses that spawn 100% extra monsters its quite simple to fail immediately if you aren't at a state where you already invalidate everything.

The keystone itself is attached to the passives for making them easier as is, that is its intent - to make them easier for X passives.

Also ^ is spot on about bots being a problem
