BG3 vs POE 3.22 ?

Such a shame BG3 came out at the same time as 3.22, in a sea of disappointments lately it really came as a blast of fresh air. God damn. Dunno how to split my time now. And the 2 games now play at completely different speeds :D.

at least BG3 don't have that FOMO so I can basically switch to POE when it comes out

BG3 might be for gaming community good but this engine and style which is used will never reach hights, feeeling and touch of original series of BG or IceWind..

No matter how big game is, graphical improved or have tons of endings it still wont be good true Baldur Gate..

So there is nothing to compare...
(not mention that comparing based-turn game vs ARPG is just weird and doesn't make sense..)

COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH YOU, GGG has to release something on the fly every 3 months, new game, keep up with the balancing issues and satisfy the core audience, think about how hard that is. When you release a league, you are already working on the next one, blind.

Believe it or not I was rocking D2 resurrected over POE when the new season started. Then me and some of my friends made the switch to Crucible. I think it's more to do with the fantasy aspect of the games, not necessary the play-style of the game.

BG3 might as well stand for Bondage 3, considering lots of forced romance scenes with humans,beasts and tentacle monsters. Also looks and feels like Divinity but with worse inventory system.
