I was planning a guardian summoner build even if it’s a bad idea for this league since minions could target the protectors instead of the totems, resulting in a longer fight.
But if that unique radiant minion doesn’t give let’s say at least the equivalent of onslaught and at least a 10 more damage, I will definitely change build and ascendancy

I'm thinking about leaguestarting an Infernal Blow Chieftain, depending on what "Tawhoa, Forest's strength" actually does to a melee strike.

I'll be making a tec slam/EQ chieftain not sure which one yet but it won't be in league, i'll respec my melee totem chieftain since that build is getting buried. Not that i am sad about it, hardly ever played it anyway so i am fine with that.
I'll also have to remake my guardian but i honestly have no idea what to make of the new guardian at this point. There is 6 ascendancy notables that are somewhat generically useful but the rest is kinda iffy..

No reason for me to go through all the grind work a league start brings with it, there doesn't seem to be anything worthwhile to get this time around and the league concept isn't appealing either. All the strategy that's supposedly involved will go out of the window anyway once the players DPS reaches decent numbers.

My son was going to play a Chieftain next league but the ascendancy changed too much for his build, so time to reevaluate that choice.

if i were willing to support ggg right now even by playing the game i would faceroll guardian and give zero fracks about their pathetic nerfs, I am Templar.

Streamers are already prepping their ignite prolif bait builds that declare Chieftain the best ascendancy in the game so don't expect any changes. They'll never show you their videos where they don't hit the 500% on Kosis where it takes 5 minutes to kill him though.

I'm thinking of league starting Hiero. If Guardian ends up being good I can switch. If not...totems are gonna be OP for this league mechanic anyhow.

I want to do something with that +max res but I haven't really figured out anything that would suit league starting with. But who knows what the patch notes will bring.

And something with cold damage and strong curses/auras seems attractive for the league mechanic. Or perhaps that decoy totem that can blow things up, depending how much in there is tauntable.

I've already got 3 Chieftain angles I'm looking at, gonna be tough to decide which one.
