0.10.7 Patch Notes

If you have runtime errors try these tips: (fyi I started writing and will make another post)
a. scan your pc for malware with malwarebytes.org
b. install legit antivirus software such as microsoft security essentials
c. update .net framework pack: win7
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30667
xp: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851

d. update c++ redistributable pack
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999

e. update video card drivers:
http://www.guru3d.com/files_categories/videocard_drivers.html

f. update sound card drivers and video card drivers:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads35.html

I highly recommend downloading the latest version of your chipset and audio drivers. Sometimes that means up to date 3rd party sites (majorgeeks), 1st party sites (like the manufacturer of your pc dell, hp, alienware etc) lastly the "chipset makers" sites like realtek or creative labs. For instance on one pc the latest stable realtek drivers are on realtek's site. However for the other pc it is on majorgeek's site
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

if you run into driver issues it can help to download the drivers, uninstall/delete current drivers then install the latest version/reboot.

g. clean up temp files on your pc
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
or my minipack:
http://jroe.me/2010/12/roes-minipack-v6-is-out/

h. after a reboot if you continue to lag/choppy play try resetting your NIC including tcpip and winsock tables.

http://jroe.me/2010/08/various-network-fix-commands-i-run-in-bat-files/
or download here (still need to perform appropriate winsock reset in a seperate command prompt right click and launch under your admin account):
http://jroe.me/2010/12/roes-minipack-v6-is-out/

i. I highly recommend scanning for malware on your pc for a popular rootkit that jacks svchost.exe:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/
if your pc is fubar remvoe trojans/rootkits, be prepared for many "sfc /scannow" runs in safemode and booting to "last known configuration"
-if your pc does have malware scan again with malwarebytes with safemode w/networking, may want to use additional utilities such as norman cleaner:
combofix is great (high risk, for more IT savvy pros, majorgeeks often helps forum users)
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/

j. repair system files, run a command prompt as an admin then perform the command:
sfc /scannow

-this will help repair corrupt/infected system files:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

k. update your motherboard chipset drivers. I believe its included in a radeon pack for AMD but intel you can find their latest drivers on majorgeeks or intel's website.
can't figure out your hardware? use cpu-z
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

l. wouldn't hurt to defrag your pc
http://windows.about.com/od/maintainandfix/ss/SBSdefragWin7_all.htm

m. wouldn't hurt to update java
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

n. update windows for the latest security/important updates:
windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
update.microsoft.com/?ln=en-us

This is how my cursor looks in 1080p

My cursor in 1024x768 fullscreen looks the same, that is, it has that stray pixel on the right side about 2/3 up the arrow. The stray pixel is not present in windowed mode (or in the couple of windowed resolutions i checked, anyway).

I also find that the new cursor, while more visible in dark environments, is less visible in light environments. Can we get an outline around it, or a toggle so we can choose between the old and new cursors?

.....well there goes multi strike's awesome factor. Melee goes back to being lame and my lightening strike gems get vendored.

Sick ass ilvl 78 Mallet freshly rolled.

Crafting a decent weapon just got harder...by a factor or at least 10.

Continued to incrementally improve the art, effects and environments and audio.

after experiencing half hour in game i have to express my feelings

this patch has made the game whole new level of experience

first of all thanks for the "space" loot fix,its tremendously visible that its working correctly! also no more fear of poping skeletons to help me

second the cursor is amazing,in totally crowded screen with all crap flying i am able to see cursor in instant.

i don't know how to feel about new uniques changes..haven't looted a single one since patch ,with high iir/iiq,and the thing that now i almost wont ever be able to get kaom's chest is deeply troubling..

rest is yet to be seen

its good thing overall

Thank you.

Oh, I see it now, too, on dark backgrounds. It's very small at 1920x1080, but it's there.

Ya, adding in 2 new mods (with 2 tiers each) totally made it 10 times harder, cause you know, math!
