POLL: Did Exilecon increase or decrease your overall hype for POE and POE 2?

Decrease.

Not only was I not excited by PoE 2 but I was effectively informed that PoE 1 will hemorrhage players thanks to GGG splitting the community.

I feel like I've lost 2 games in a scenario where the 1 game I've spent over 10,000 hours playing was supposed to be getting a huge update.

Very respectable amount of hours and well said.

Increase for poe 1 - now we know nothing about their plans. Mystery is a little fun(for awhile) and then poe is currently fun as hell I just want more crafting in the game for ssf....

Insanely decrease for poe 2 - The combat looked slow, the changing of the trade system seems really foolish, AN rares running around with 3 mods at level 40..., Whoever is over there doing poe 2 balance please stay on poe 2 and not poe 1. I like my exp.

Why would you want a thread that's got a lot of support for your side of the current discussion to die?

he doesnt like it when players voice out that they dislike how poe2 is turning it out to be or when players voice out they're not happy for the separation of poe1 and 2.

same energy with r/d4 where you arent supposed to complain about the game. if you do, you're a whiner.

The OP in not a poll. data isn't displayed (unless there is an undisclosed deadline). Looks like author put it out for ppl to argue over things, and since no-one here seems to adhere to the OP premise, the b8 is a success.

If I'm in fact wrong, and this gonna get tallied- count me as 'strongly increased'

I mean probably not lol but nothing's stopping someone from doing a count at some reasonable cutoff point.

seen so many people just argue in bad faith. mislabeled you as one of them.

Decrease, didn't think it was possible but here we are.

Not only did it manage to make me not want to play poe 2 to the point of not even trying the Beta when it happen, it even killed my hype for the first game too.

Like why would I want to put money in it, play hundred of hours every leagues just for the game to get D3 treatment in not even 2 years?

You've got more chance to make me believe my waifu is real than make me believe they aren't going to give up on POE 1 the momment POE 2 release.

Not long after I saw the Exilecon released what was my thought?
I miss Deep rock galactic and Minecraft.

Overall decrease. I didn't watch anything, tho, but read the announcements and such. And saw the trailers.

POE2 looks pretty cool, great graphics and I hope they'll oneshot the super-duper-speed meta that's been rampant for years now. Way too early to tell, but I liked what I saw.

3.22 announcement left a sour taste in my mouth, very disappointing. Last league was almost a non-event, and now they're rehashing old leagues? Didn't care much for sanctum, so to have that back is bad news. Hopefully the league itself will be decent, but I'm just not very optimistic right now. We'll know more once the patch notes are out of course, but I worry all future league until POE 2 will be kinda half-assed. IMO, the last two leagues were (didn't play the 10 leagues or so before Sanctum, so can't say anything about those).

But we'll see. Maybe they manage to positive surprise us.

Shame POE 2 is probably at best 18 months away, cause that looked much better, and will hopefully play much better too, with more emphasis on balance between game systems or resources than is the case in POE.
