Can a High-End PC handle this patch? How's "user testing" gone for big companies like CDPR?

CPU: 7800X3D GPU: 4090 RAM: 32GB 6000MHz Neo Storage: Game's stored on a 1TB 3000/3000 M.2 (could be better) Cooling: AM5 360 AIO, & 7x Lian Li Unifans in Full Lian Li tower. Status of Game? Running like shit and hardware now hotter with heavier loading. I exclusively run 100% deli with as much quantity as I possibly can - up to 327% Quantity with altars, etc - with beyond, legion and Harbinger in my Atlas tree. You know, the content available. I am playing solo, though the game's basically unplayable after the patch. I play at 4k with everything maxed out and now I'm dipping to 20 frames. The frames are now all garbage with heavy artifacting. Often now the game just decides to put a Red filter over the screen and leave it there until I restart. NICE! It's something that I just can't play now for fear of it actually damaging my hardware. Can you imagine if I didn't invest in additional cooling? CPU would previously peak at 81° now it's at 85°. GPU is up an additional 5°. Please don't release patches than have the potential to damage people's hardware! Finally, people have been mentioning that companies regularly get their customers to test for them. This is only supported by the player base if you're a small company! CD Project red, Bethesda, Bioware. All have suffered massive stock losses and (arguably) more importantly, reputational damage due to this practice. Running smoother than it did when the patch dropped this AM.
AND, it is running smoother than it did before the patch. RTX 3060, i7-11700 with 16 GB RAM. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

" Yeah, exactly this. They absolutely shit the bed somewhere in the code and it's causing problems with the entire spectrum of setups. Not even running Stable Diffusion with literal 4k images is fucking up my setup more than PoE. This is a beta testing i won't be participating in. Ruthless should be [Removed by Support].

Sadly i haveing problems too, i stoped playing today because of the borked patch they released, and i glad to see i'am not alone in this, because it's becoming almost unplayable for me but i stop playing because of fears of something they borked in this patch can cause harm to my hardware, and i don't have money to upgrade anything anymore sadly but truth, now i waiting for some official fix or to they revert the update to a backup one before this borked patch that ruined all the game for me, before the patch i play very well smooth on max, now i can barely play on mid-low settings without a stutter, dps drops or the scary graphical glitches like doomsday on crucible or some other problems, that scared me and now i'am waiting paciently to a fix or a backup update.

" I don't think people realise how demanding this game can become when you uber-juice maps at 4k max settings. Those of us who've played for 10 years obviously didn't have current hardware back then, and so understand how far the game's come. People who're using 9-year-old cards who literally cannot play at 4k max settings on uber juiced maps, have no concept of what we're talking about but exclaim "my pc run stable you nid git gud pc". Yep. If you don't shake a potato, it will remain stable! So this post made me check how bad it was for me, I did had some small lag but I didn't think much of it.
After checking its CPU is at 82C with alch and go map. I like this game, but I already lost two pc im not breaking a third one one week after getting it. Why am I still here

Yeah, the game is pegging my CPU. It feels like the opposite of the post they made stating they wish to move things onto GPU. Well I have an ok-ish GPU and would like it to take more of the workload :P

Try to wrap your head around this.
When you have maybe a few hundred test benches and even several months of testing you can quite easily see results that are good with no problems occuring. When they release a patch to the public with tens of thousands of configurations and driver differences problems can and do occur. The only way you are going to get a bug free experience is if they stop developing new content all together and never do anything than bug fix the current version of the game That's why, at league launch there are always bugs because they can have 100000 hours testing and the players will double that in an hour...i know math is hard right.........
