"api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-1.dll is missing" error

I'm running on Win7.

Game updated this morning and I can't get into any character to play as the game crashes with the "api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-1.dll is missing from your computer." error. It was working fine last night before POE's update.

Pls help.

-> first it update
-> then i go daresso arena in act
-> then i get missing api-ms-win-core-heap-l2-1-0.dll and crash



-> then i download the dll
-> then i go daresso arena in act
-> then i get missing LocalAlloc in D3DCOMPILER_47.dll and crash

never randomly download DLL's off the internet lol

find the issue and fix it

run a windows repair disk or check system files etc

I am also running Win 7 and am getting the same error Interestingly enough though, I can dismiss the error and play anyway It only seems to happen when I load into the game itself and not when I reload new instances or anything like that.

I am also running Win 7 and getting this error during loading screen to overseer tower. I can press OK and continue my somewhat stuttering experience.
UPD: installing Microsoft Visual 2015-2022 did not solve the problem.

What are the chances that they stop supporting Win 7

Can't even load the city, the whole PC starts lagging just from PoE loading screen with CPU going full throttle. Please fix.

Same issue here, also playing on a Windows 7 PC. Similar to others, I get this error message once upon loading into the game, but can then switch instances or zones without further errors. Performance is bad though since the patch. It's a very annoying issue, would greatly appreciate a fix!
