Who else has been playing for almost a decade in permanent leagues and is still poor?

I felt this in my spleen. A whooole lot of people lost a lot of wealth the day Grinding Gear flipped the script and made Exalts mostly pointless. I never had all that many of either currency type to begin with, but I still had more than double the Exalt count I did Divines.

On the other hand, I've blown a few Exalts over the last few weeks slamming jewels to see if I could nail an awesome four-modder. Wouldn't have done that if Exalts were still worth beans. So hey, hurray Rei I guess.

I also only play standard. I think standard had some kind of crazy bad drop rate for years.

Something changed during the last couple of patches. I have only recently seen a few chaos fall while mapping. Still very poor but sold some map item for 40 divines and have actually enjoyed trying to create a couple of items for the first time ever.

Still poor but it is a little better than before so I play a little more.

The "new" Heatshivers go for about 20c in standard. The guy just went by the prices for the old one and priced it at 1alch lol. So instead of buying it, I told him that he was about to make a mistake and showed him my Heatshiver and told him to look at the different mods.

That's one reason I'm poor.

I think I divined some Glass Shards before taking one of my longish breaks, only to come back and find this.

Ok so I love trying new builds and experimenting, thus I very rarely grind in order to get the BiS gear, just mostly to get decent gear to get the job done and have a good feeling about the build. WHen I feel a character is pretty much "complete" I hop onto a new one, keep spending all the currency I get in order to gear my character, rinse and repeat.

Also add that I play hardcore only, so I often lose all the currency I spent on a particular character. I barely touch permanent leagues. I guess I am pretty poor by definition after all (even though I have some cool legacy uniques in my hardcore stash).

I can't even remember the legacy version of Heatshiver :P Is that the one with +2 to fire and cold gems or something?

I am serious, tho. And I can value honesty, like you're doing in the SS. The problem here is, that my PC is in boxes as I'm moving these days. I can come back to you if you want.

idk how do people arent able to make currency for example one of the easiest ways imo is doing 80% deli scarab maps every 50 maps i did i made 23-25 divines every single time with TFT bulk sell was selling my entire scarab tab for that price and it took me like few hours to run them very chill and easy also im talking about only scarab profit from 50 maps that also includes the coverage for how much i invested into delirium orbs and i still got profit of 23-25 divines also not to mention the other loot you get from running 50 maps becuz of atlas nodes and league mechanics you had in it so basically was making bank with very chill gameplay

"playing for almost a decade" means absolutely nothing
How many hours have you efficiently spent farming and trading?

I almost never play permanent leagues and I'm definitely not poor there.
