I really hope Crucible trees will stay in the game

Didnt see this mentioned yet: I strongly believe crucible will not
go core, however I expect that Items with trees will still exist
in standard. It is also possible that primevil remnants and geodes
will exist (never to drop again.... like item quantity gem.)

what we should do. is prepare some decent i85+ bases for crafting
in standard. I expect they will keep their trees. so use your VAST
standard currency to craft when the league ends.

in case primevil remnants ARE disabled and deleted, and that there can
be no future changes made to the trees, use most of your remnants here.
save a few of course.... just in case. cause adding a tree to one of
your all time finest weapons ever found/bought/crafted? hellz yea.
gotta take that chance.

Even if it was just as a unique map drop with some Crucible Altars in the map. It doesn't have to be a main mechanic with atlas nodes.

Crucible trees enable so many builds: AoE Rolling Magma, Poison Ballista's, High Armour Shields for Shield Crush, MoM Builds because of the base mana regen nodes,...

Would be a shame to see all those options go away.

Maybe some of the more interesting Crucible mods will become Suffixes on weapon, or maybe there will be a small % chance that when weapons drop - its implicit is changed with a more interesting crucible mod (would be cool, and in some cases very strong - for example Rampage implicit, etc.)
They don't learn, they just keep pancake stacking broken and not broken mechanics. At this point it's a circus and nothing about loot drop grinding - with over-the-top crafting power.

Just let everyone keep it, make harvest full strength again, make more mechanics that stack and double, triple no 10fold your output, more currency types, more current tabs because there's so much different league currency, you might as well just go all the way now and hope you pace yourself properly with updates in POE2.

this has a lot to do with the free to play aspect. they need to respect
the wishes of their top donors. I bet there is a sidebar for ggg employees
browsing the forums that indicates "how many times on probation: x"
"total contributions: y$" "total playtime: z" "playtime this league;q "

then you work from the top down on requests for content. if 175$ wants you
to stop the power creep. and 2,178,984$ wants you to crank it up a notch.

furthermore, they encourage stash tab purchase
through very excessive quantities of currency / league items / etc etc etc.

the push to improve monetization was due to the desire to be purchased.
crank their market value up before the sale.

That's quite over dramatic to be honest. You get more than enough power even without high end crafted items. More than enough to pretty much run and destroy every existing content in the game with ease.
Not sure why some people have such a problems with the difference between good lower end endgame gear and the perfect high end gear. But I guess that's just a fomo issue for some lol
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

No, it's a matter of build choice. If you pick the right builds you can do endgame without god level gear. Take something that is "not right" and you are fucked. The gap in powerpotential between builds is even bigger than the powergap between midtier and top tier gear.

Sure, but you don't need any high end mirror crucible gear in order to run every content on any skill. Some skills ramp up early while some need a bit of investment, but you can play close to every build without spending a dime on gigachad gear.

This boils down to what your (or anyones really) idea of "a bit of investment" is. Depending on the skill/build and assuming you want to do actual endgame content and not just red maps/pinnacles then we are talking about several hundred divines in many cases. Some builds might not be able to do it at all because the scaling options both offensively and defensively simply aren't there. Sure that isn't mirror tier but it's still way beyond what i'd call "a bit of investment".
Some play all content in SSF with various random non meta or popular builds.
So the biggest investment is just knowledge of knowing how to scale your build in a good and efficient way. And knowing what you want to achieve with your build.

You get close to every build endgame viable with less than 50 divines and that's actually quite a bit giving how expensive the min-max part can get if you want to squeeze out the limits of a build.

Sure some builds might struggle with Uber fights or don't have a chance at all, they do perform better in different content tho. But the fault is that people see Ubers as the ultra build benchmark, while it's pretty obvious that some skills are purely designed to be more single target efficient and others are more efficient for speed aoe farming. Along with just leveling or utility skills. So yes a builds endgame purpose can be to blast maps, or delve extremely deep, or be a pure boss destroyer.
