Do You think game changes with massive change with poe2 ?
" PoE2 isn't even at the beta stage yet, think they said they would announce the beta at exile con, the beta is likely going to be multiple months given how much is changing " The end game isn't really changing, it's shared (PoE 1 and 2 characters), there will be stuff added and i think they have said they are going to go over the old league mechanics and maybe remove some but that was a good while back and not 100% confirmed " What competition? unless leagues in d4 are next level epic there really isn't competition. GGG have been developing PoE2 to beat D4, and atm it looks like they have achieved overkill and will likely go over and above what they had initially planned, the acts reshuffle comes to mind, people knew they were removing a difficulty and probably adding a new act (as they had done before) but they over and above peoples expectations to announce 5 more acts Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1 Last edited by lagwin1980#2224 on Jun 25, 2023, 6:59:20 PM

" 3.0 was a massive change because it added Acts 5-10. I know a lot of people don't consider the campaign as anything more than a speed bump, but that was still a lot of content added even if it was not end game content. The thing Harbinger did for end game was subtle, but very important still for some players. At the time, maintaining and progressing maps was hard. Harbingers brought Harbinger Orbs, which made upgrading maps and the Beachhead available. Both helped to move forward and build up maps. I realize this is just an adjacent change to end game, but I recall it making end game maps more available to me. Thanks for all the fish! Last edited by Nubatron#4333 on Jun 26, 2023, 9:03:19 AM

" They repurposed the act bosses and terrain into the new maps that followed so in a way it was, partially, end game content. Hiding in plain sight. |
