" It's difficult to pick things from D4 videos, because the game really isn't all that mapped out - btw Moxsy has a good video on WW barb that's recent enough - and the baseline of what counts as 'good' isn't really set, because many people compare D4 builds to how D3 / SC PoE play, which is where 'all the builds feel terrible' comes from. It's also not obvious how far the scaling goes into the actual endgame - for example ice shards sorc is really good until about lvl85, at which point it runs out of good stuff on paragon boards, but the enemy scaling isn't over yet at that point, so it starts falling off hard. But most other classes, especially barb and druid, don't have that problem at all. There's always going to be the best class, just like PoE tends to have the best ascendancy (juggernaught in Crucible, and it's not even close), it's about how close they are and it seems to be somewhat all right (since there's no PoB, one can't compare builds all that easily). |
