You keep coming back.. in their eyes it's working as intented then.

They are getting away with alot still over the years because people still think ggg is a "small indie company" unlike other big companies, every single little thing gets checked and if anything has been found it's hell on earth for that company.. meanwhile here a slap on the wrist and maybe some words here and there but all they have to do is write a "sorry" thread and another promise that they will comunicate and do better..

it works everytime.. and not much changes.

As I mentioned before as long you keep coming back despite all you write here it wont matter, you will be another +1 to increase on the counts everytime a new league opens to boost the ego on twitter/forum post.

If that is the perception then people need to go and look up how many people play this game. GGG is no longer small, they haven't been small for some time. Path of Exile gets 1-1.3million daily active players globally. They also have the most obscenely expensive microtransactions I have ever seen with a battle pass (the vault pass) containing less then half the content of every other games battle pass but costing 3x as much. ($10 in most games vs a whopping $30 here, and to be clear I didn't buy it nor will I ever)

To say they don't care about revolving door players like me not being a part of retention is a little off the mark though. In that trading manifesto everyone loves to point at they make it clear that they don't like when people only play for a month at the start of each league then get bored and split, so there's no reason to believe they wouldn't care about the same happening with players getting frustrated before they split. The part they care about is the 'they split' part.

Literally the main reason they SAY they don't want to make easy trade is because they believe it will make players quit faster each league due to boredom. Well guess what GGG? How about the players like me that quit faster each league because you DONT have an Auction House so they get fed up? I sure af didn't quit due to boredom or because I blew through all the content already. I didn't even get to ubers this league. I quit because I got sick of all the lack of QoL, including trade being garbage, and of all the players chomping at the bit to suck up to you and your bullshit trade manifesto any time anyone DARES commit the mortal sin of suggesting that PoE needs to improve. Every game needs to improve over time and that doesn't always involve new content. Sometimes improvement means fixing the old content and making the game more accessible for the bottom 90% of players who you have already said don't interact with your trade system because of how much it sucks. Tailoring the game to only what the top 10% are doing is a really BAD idea that will always hurt new player retention, no matter what genre the game is.
This is why I check the forums before returning lol

Not my time to return but ill check in another few months.
