RESET THE LEAGUE !!

Assuming that resetting the economy is the main factor that makes players return to the game instead of the new league is just bad logic. The "new economy is good" argument in itself is a flimsy one as people who are addicted always have advantage regardless.

Streamers and players play other things because they don't want to burnout or have alredy seen/played enough.

Resetting isn't exciting nor evolving, it's retracing previous steps.

I understand the argument, but it simply doesn't work that way.

I'm pretty sure the reason most ppl stopped playing halfway through this league is because its f***ing terrible. Crucible sucks BAD. Broken builds, overtuned mobs, out of control map mods, the worst RNG the game has ever seen on a system that only lets u roll said RNG once every 20 maps. I have only played during a handful of leagues (Abyss, Beasts, Harvest, Perandus, and Ritual) but Crucible is the worst by a longshot.

Also, what about the players who DONT speed-run through the entire game to a 40/40 in a single afternoon like they're Sonic the freaking Hedgehog? What are they supposed to do, get reset after getting 3/4 through the story over and over so PoE never gets another new player ever again?

Honestly the whole idea of a reset to begin with is stupid and is nothing more then a bad excuse to cover the fact that GGG cant figure out how to properly gold-sink to balance their economy or keep a fresh endgame like every other MMO on the planet manages to do just fine. We DO NOT need that being made even worse then it already is.
