When did you find your first Exalted Orb?

Mine was just when it turned open beta and I first started playing. I found it from somewhere in act 1, normal. I didn't really know how valuable it was so I gave it to a friend so he could but a death harp now. Big mistake, I've not found a single one since.

Act II , Church Dungeon, Cruel on first character. Found 6 total so far.

First one i found on a zombie right before Hillock in Twilight Strand as lvl 2.

Used it on an item and got +8 fire resist.

Lvl 66 Tropical island Map from a summoner.

Second one on third character in merciless while farming ledge.


I get the girlfriend to start playing, and she finds one on the beach -.-

In closed beta some where in the jail on normal about a week before open beta. Used it on something random because i didnt know know how valuable it was. Thank the gods for the wipe if not i would have been so pissed at wasting it. Found 2 since cant remember where tho

- oak cruel
- docks merci
- springs map

first for me was ledge normal rerolling after a HC death, second one was on a different char cruel fellshrine. third was different char again in maps (thicket).

never once have seen a devine...

I've never had a character above level 61, but I've found 3 Exalted Orbs.

1 was in Hillock normal map and the other 2 were in Ledge normal. If you want currency build a under level 5 quantity set and rush ledge and farm it until level 18. Stash your gear and recreate.

You could even put together higher level replacement pieces and farm past ledge if you want, but I found it faster to just keep rushing ledge.

Only thing that matters is quantity, so just remember -2.5% quantity per map level above your level and you'll be swimming in currency. The move you over level yourself the less currency you'll find.
