Uber boss drop rates are awful
Bossing is waste of money unless you're offering carry services or doing it very early in league.
But then again, given how easily you can build pure glass cannon characters to 1 shot ubers - if they increase drop rate then the uniques will be worthless. So in both cases, running ubers is just not worth it. If you really like bossing, you're far better off running juiced maven invitations & selling the writs. |

Quality of life in the game is not the same when the casual player who wants to experience a fun time by doing the hardest content in the game gets nothing over and over again because its drop rate limited. Not everyone can dedicate themselves to playing the game for 24 hours a day 7 days a week or work in teams just to be better than everyone else or sell currency on the side. Makes the chase pointless and not worth it. Some people try to make a toon good enough to do ubers and get to that point with zero reward.

" Say they made it so every uber dropped their rarest reward 10x more often. Immediately those items will fall to 1/10th of their price. So once again, running those bosses won't feel rewarding. Bosses can't ever be the 'hardest content' in this game because you can make glass cannon build that will 1 shot it and skip all mechanics. As long as that it the case, the rewards have to be balanced around that. Try 100% deli with beyond/breach/blight, that's actually hard content and appropriately rewarding. The only way I see them countering the 1 shotting of ubers is to cap out player dps instead of giving them damage reduction. But then you're playing a totem exploder, so you prolly won't like this. |
