Uber Eater ignoring flask effects, or dealing too much damage

Did those map bosses you tested have a relevant base multiplier? I never tested this stuff with map bosses, only shaper and eater and the results definetely don't match if i just consider an 1,7 more multi. And i don't believe in hidden penetration mods if there is another explanation available that's based on known factors.

One of those I tested last league is that one: https://poedb.tw/us/The_Arbiter_of_Knowledge#Lvl73CityStalkerMaleMapBoss It has "328% Damage", and the "Base damage: " values further down suggest that this boss is a major threat with one shot potential. The reality however is that this boss does much less damage with those skills (BookProjectile) than the numbers say: One book projectile was ~170 dam post mitigation so <2000 damage before mitigation.

You mean normal or uber? Its "well known" that the numbers do not match for (all or some) ubers. Thats where the speculation (hidden penetration etc) comes from.

In Shapers case normal, in Eaters case uber.
