More classes
I know for a fact that if you made more classes or races you would get more players, and there should be because this is a great game, and your gonna have to do something no other ARPG games have done before.. now this is something that could be done in the future not now of course, but i seriously recommend you thinking about this and maybe asking the community for what sorts of classes there should be, i think you would get a lot of good feedback, but like i said this is something that could happen in the future.
PS. I STILL THINK THIS CAN BEAT DIABLO 3 AND OTHER ARPG GAMES!!! :D in the end its always about what the fans want.... BETA member since 25-05-2012 thanks to PistolPepper Last edited by Lagarst#4614 on May 27, 2012, 3:44:43 PM

The classes really don't matter though...all it affects is the starting point on the passive skill tree, other than that they differ only on base starting stats and looks.
Stat gain per level is the same across all classes, so really the most valuable change they could make to the classes would be actual character customization. There's a very large community that loves to customize how their character looks and passionately hates genderlock, and as stated, considering most of the other things don't factor in, I think character customization would be the best change to complement the customization of the passive skill tree. |

They just added a 6th class, so calm down. It's not like you don't have a lot to experiment with 6 classes!

During the beta weekend I couldn't find a real difference between the classes except of their starting position in skill map and looks ofc.

" Which are pretty big differences... Try getting a templar to the bottom right of the passive tree reasonably.. takes a LOT more points than a ranger or shadow Last edited by Xendran#1127 on May 27, 2012, 6:24:42 PM

Good point. I'm not saying that the current character development system is bad - tbh I like it a lot, but I am a bit afraid of too much freedom and some weird twisted "uber" warrior/thief/mage builds.

There would be nothing "uber" about such a build. Hybrid builds are weaker, plain and simple. Specialize your role. Pick one or two roles and stick with them.
Class differences are at least threefold: 1. Appearance 2. Passive Tree location 3. Quest reward gems Furthermore, I don't think it's that hard to understand that greater appearance customization is coming in the form of the cash shop. Hold your horses and wait to get a chance to spend your cash on looking unique. |
