What a mess this league.

Yeah, this league truly has the smell of a filler league. Half-baked mess.

Filler leagues would be fine, but you would want to make them rewarding to play... Legacy was a filler league and it was one of my favorites.

Hey atleast the Trade Site works.....
oh wait its more down then up.....

It's thanks to all the third party nerds. They get to map while their tool fills up the website with unnecessary "request" on cooldown.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

I wonder what a mess this game would be to play/understand without the community making all these tools...... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is what you worked on for 4 whole months???

After the very good forbidden sanctum season I cannot believe what we got here, this is the first season since 2012 i'll skip after 2 days. I really hope 95% of the development time for this season went into POE2.

Yeah, the league could've used more polish, that said, this post will age like milk if they show us really amazing PoE2 gameplay at exilecon.

Unless you'd prefer more polished leagues and getting PoE2 in 2026? Because we probably can't have both and also their devs sleeping at home instead of in the office.

oh come on, this "poe2 will fix everything" nonsense. i'd rather have a good game now than some vaporware that is probably on the same level of quality than the main game. poe2 is likely still a year away. do we want 3-4 more low effort leagues that barely work? no, thanks.

Sure, I'd take getting PoE2 in a year after 3-4 low effort leagues over getting it in 2 years after 6-8 medium effort leagues. It's really up to one's preference, neither choice is strictly correct.

My reasoning is that they can freely work on core game changes for the fresh release, what they can do in leagues will always be limited because the thing kinda has to work in 3-ish months. And core game changes are what I'm interested in, can't say I would care as much about several extra rounds of bandaids, which is the most they can do for a new league.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Maybe the league is underdeveloped and unrewarding because the three(?) ruthless developers designed it while everyone else furiously works on PoE 4.0

Weapon mods with such severe downsides they are barely usuable. Unique weapon users completely blindsided till endgame.

Dude, did you really expect godlike stuff being thrown at you?
With this magnitude of possible outcomes... of course there's a lot of trial and error until you get the "perfect" result.
If at all. And that's a good thing.
I, for myself, do not want the game to be trivial.

Play ruthless. If casual people who just want to kill stuff fast and get loot leave the game... there is no funding for GGG. They NEED those $10-20 purchases to keep the game running. $10 from 250,000 people is a hell of a lot more than $10 from 10,000 (GGGs estimate of how many people needed to keep the game running).

It'll be interesting to see the league numbers once D4 comes out. If D4 is ok, next league will likely be the first league I've been in years.
I bought 40 regrets through trade channel 2. In 2023. Trade site doesnt work for days. Worst league yet. End of story.
