What a mess this league.

This is what you worked on for 4 whole months???

I feel like you spent 10 min making this up and the rest of the 4 months how to make our life miserable with adding mods and attacks to rares that don't even have any sort of counter. You can't see it, it's often offscreen and it just makes no sense.

Weapon mods with such severe downsides they are barely usuable. Unique weapon users completely blindsided till endgame.

I guess atleast Ruthless 2, Oh I mean PoE 2 got plenty of development time these last 4 months.

Yeah, the league could've used more polish, that said, this post will age like milk if they show us really amazing PoE2 gameplay at exilecon.

Unless you'd prefer more polished leagues and getting PoE2 in 2026? Because we probably can't have both and also their devs sleeping at home instead of in the office.

Neh I get that. Im just worried they are doing this right now to slowly lower expectations for PoE 2.

Yeah, in a way it would make sense to slowly steer the current game towards PoE2 to make the transition less jarring. But maybe not, they're probably banking on a big release and ton of new people / old returnees logging in to try it, the former would have no idea what to expect and for the latter even the current game would be a big change from what they knew.

Or, maybe PoE 2 wont be as mind blowing as everyone thinks it will be.

Yeah, who knows, but at least it doesn't seem like they're rushing it out, the current game should be keeping them afloat well enough, even with 'some portion of manpower that isn't 100% and probably doesn't include their best people' working on it, so there's no need to. That at least eliminates one reason to fail, the remaining one would be messing up most of the things they want to fix in some way.

And by 'messing up' I mean making something that nobody will like. Even if PoE2 plays very differently from the current game it will still be a win if players that aren't too attached to current PoE stick around and become the new regulars.

The rich become richer this league with gating "good rewards" at high tier and almost impossible to do content.
The guy with mageblood and mirror tier items will be able to do it while rest of peels with 20 div chars will not get sh*t.

it feels lack luster. they even delayed the release of Crucible, for this lack lusting content league. it feels half messy.

in the end there was no need for delay, most players probably gone after 4 weeks.
