What's the strongest entity in Path Of Exile?

This question was posed on reddit today, fun to ponder.
" I'll put a pretty compelling answer in spoiler but feel free to opine before or without spoiling.

T1 Major Cosmic Entities: - The Tangle - The Cleansing Fire - The Decay - Mavens Pregenetor T2 Major Cosmic Entities - Child Edition: - Maven (she is probably weaker than the ones above, considering that she is a child compared to the other eldritch beings... but she is the strongest being we actually meet ingame) T3 Champions for Cosmic Entities: - Searing Exarch - Black Star - Eater of Worlds - Infinite Hunger - Elder - The Exile (our Player Character) (All of them are champions for eldritch beings, and with that, I assume that all of them are stronger than everything below) T4 People who fought against Champion(s) and appearantly aquired some cosmic Powers(?): - Shaper - Sirus T5 Group who fought successfully against Champion(s): - Elder Slayers T6 Gods: - Sin - Innocence - Kitava - The Boys from the Pantheon T7: - Just about everything else we meet in the Acts No clue where the side content bosses fit in (Breach, Abyss, Delve, Syndicate, Heist etc) Last bumped on Apr 5, 2023, 10:43:52 AM

Literal gods at the bottom of a long list?
Tell me your game has out of control powercreep without telling me... I think this sort of thing is more "fun" when you have faith the creator/s have a plan other than "and then we doubled it". And if I am wrong and GGG do have a firm grasp on the power structure of their game world's antagonists, cool. But given how low their actual story bosses sit compared to stuff added in 'expansions', forgive me my scepticism. But honestly, it was all downhill after they introduced a big bad with the brilliantly short sighted but bombastic name of "Abaxoth, The End Of All That Is". Almost 10 years ago now. Really blew their Lovecraftian load early on. Talk about premature eradication. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between. Maven's parents are literally the strongest by a tenfold in fact a law was put in place by them that there kids can't fight each other or they blow up the universe due to there power so in order to ''win games'' and claim things they literally choose champions such as the Exile / Eater of worlds and such to act for them.

Essence monsters with 8+ essences 2+ corrupted essences 6+ deafening essences
