PLEASE.... Do something about map conversion in standard league. We are suffering.

There has been so many threads asking you to change the approach to map conversion in standard. All of these have been ignored. For YEARS. Enough is enough. Please fix this for us.

This upcoming league, we get the following

Tier 16:
Dig
Volcano
Coves
Arsenal


WHY can't you accept that Standard players exist, and that we do not want all our map tabs turned into Remove Only, and only option is to convert into these.

yes, you can still run the old maps. BUT.......


You can't chisel, alch, vaal maps in a remove only tab.

And more importantly:
Corrupting maps has a 25% chance to turn it into a random NEW t16 series map.
25% of all maps I vaal will be completly ruined.
This is a complete shitshow waste for me.

I chisel x 4, alch, chaos if needed, and vaal my maps.
25% of them are completly bricked, as I have no interest in running Dig, Volcano, Coves or Arsenal.

I want to keep my damn t16's and not have them ruined every league by this system.

I wish you luck, Feels bad that a premium feature has become its own kind of problem.

a delete tag might help at least not make the problem worse allowing you to set tabs to automatically delete during the conversion process that happens at end of league giving you literally until the last possible second to change your mind if you should want a tab with 1600 maps in it xD

Though it won't solve your current problem at all..

This is a pretty important issue i would think because it discourages buying a lot of tabs not just map tabs, I don't have a lot to spend on this game but it has stopped me from buying a couple of tabs here and there.

Yes, and the map conversion process is broken. We get many maps that hit the 72 map limit while most of the maps at that tier have just a very few maps. This is broken bad. Please fix.

honestly the whole single map series system for the map tab is just... silly and pointless and ultimately causes this conversion problem.

just have map name and tier be the only things that matter(so a single atoll t16 slot might have 10 different series in it, but still caps at 72 maps), atlas progression would only show on the relevant maps in the tab.

standard slowly becomes more unplayable for those who do league and standard
+1 standard player here too, i just play for farm and relax, i dont want nerf or change tree skills every league , nerf all, etc. and map convert too

Asked literally hundred+ times by now, ignored with royal indifference. As if it is they who are paying us to play this great QoL, not vice versa.

getting to where we are now with conversion took a long time

i just convert a few at a time that i need and usually my tab fills up as i play with my fav maps anyway and i pull from remove only tabs as i need

only issue is i now have a lot of remove only map tabs ^ ^

Don't expect any improvement before PoE 2 hits.
We honestly have more chances to get the Devs improving melee, than fixing map conversion for Standard.
I still have too many map tabs (silly me, I have 3 active map tabs every league), but always seem to end with a few hundreds/thousands maps in one tab depending on how much I played.

At least map sustain is no longer a problem, no matter what, and even Alch & go seems to be reasonable for T15 (as I tend to always chisel and maybe Vaal T16).
Haven't played a league in a very long time, but this is an annoyance, more than an issue for Standard - if you legit don't have 30-40 slots for rolling some maps, either buy a new stash tab or sell/vendor/give for free/delete some items.

Moving current maps to a remove only map tab will sadly remain a "de facto" solution meant to keep us "satisfied" until PoE 2...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...
