End game gearing is miserable
" It would be fine back in the 90s when people still bought paper game guides. Nowadays you kinda have to view your players as a hive mind, and clicking the same nodes on the tree as someone else is something the hive mind is very good at. Even the laziest nectar-drunk drone can pull it off. What I'm saying is that basic knowledge checks don't work anymore, you have to layer them thick and put a lot of devil in those details. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I get it. A few times I just wanted to 5-link an item (because I know 6-linking would be exponentially tougher), but the crafting system will not automatically stop me from accidentally overriding a successful 5-linking exercise. I had to do this process very slowly.
(On a side note, I 6-linked an item by sheer luck while aiming for 5-links. Thanks, GGG.) |
