If you play a tank build to avoid doing mechanics you'd do better to make a glass cannon to avoid doing mechanics, its two paths down the same road.
Honestly while I respect GGG's choice to make slams have values possible to tank I'd prefer it if they just one shot your character regardless if the setup is as easy as shaper slam or exarch boom. |

I have more EHP than OP and I'd not be surprised to get 1shot in t1 unalched white maps.
But I also have 500b dps to make me feel better about myself. Like others said, to activate vaal molten shell and whatever else to gain fake EHP does not help against real ingame situations. If I strip you of conditionals like 10 graspings, hit is blocked, you have 60% of my ehp and i'm glass cannon build that sometimes dies to walking too quickly. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,

" Ok I'll try to be productive and contribute to the POE community by explaining what you do: You started a post with a topic that is very interesting and often painful for many players "one shot by Searing Exarch slam". Everyone once experienced being "one shot by Searing Exarch slam". At the same time, you posted a pastebin link for "your" build (necromancer lvl 97). First I checked your account to see that build, it's much easier for me than running POB. Your character tab was locked, but not for the rest: you had a max lvl 3 character in Standard, and zero Achievements & Challenges. One minute after my first post, you locked all tabs and called me a troll. How do you prove that the link you posted is your build!? What you cannot hide is the Challenges number that appears next to your Accounts when you post. You are very resourceful, you just need to convince people how you got to the Searing Exarch fight with zero Challenges. But if you really want to humiliate and deny me, just unlock your account so people can see if I'm right. The history of your posts (which you also cannot hide) shows that this is not your first time. I leave the POE community to draw its own conclusions about the reasons and intentions why are you doing that. |

" OP could just be a Standard player. They would not have any challenges completed if that were the case. That being said, I was curious what the fewest number of challenges you could have, and it appears the answer is 2/40. The defeating act bosses challenges seems like a hard lower limit unless you were one of the few that had it bug while going through and did not run a recheck. Monster Massacre would be a hard one to avoid after enough time, but getting to Searing Exarch before killing 1,000,000 monsters isn't that hard. OP making everything private in their profile after making this post certainly looks a little funny. It could be an alt account I guess. Thanks for all the fish! If you're actually looking for help, perhaps point people to the character that was one shot and make it public. Do you want help, or is this thread purely rhetorical?
