9. Lord of the Rings, scenes are not 1:1 like they were in the book but that is not the point of adaptation. There were perhaps much more accurate adaptations made of simpler things like Detective stories, where you need just 3 actors and murder weapon. But when you consider the scope of such high-fantasy project lord of the rings nailed it from costumes to characterization and acting.

I can also recommend new Dune movie, sure no movie will do 100% justice to these fat old books but it is hard to accuse them of not trying. What dune does well is bringing you in to the world of dune with all those spice addicts and much thanks for it goes to Hans Zimer that created quite unique sound for this unique world.

But my favorite from those going by memory of ohh so pleasurable nomy-nomy taste I liked Chocolate Cake the best, Walnut cakes make my mouth hurt I think it is allergy and fruit cakes are mostly made with Jello which i hate so i'd go with Date.

I love tiramisu and coffe cake is not that far from it, so that would be my third pick. (Chocolate>Date>Coffe)

My answer would change depending on drink avaible but chocolate would stay 1. because it is rarely as dry as other cakes.

Some cakes just need that tea/chocolate milk to go down because they are on the dry-side of things. Coca-cola as the only drink avaible makes any of these not so great experience(I tried, do not recommend)
