Relics are not Accountbound and are being Sold, how is that okay?

Most of the relics I get are junk. Why the heck would anyone want to pay for someone else's random drops? How is that in the least bit unbalancing?

More importantly, why are you valuing your own relics based on what someone else dropped for themselves?

This. It would be a problem if people were actually trading identified account bound items, but that's not the case. If players want to waste huge amounts of currency for a chance at a good relic, instead of simply spending a tiny fraction of that currency making a build able to farm their own sanctums for profit (50 chaos can easily gear a totem build capable of farming tier 16 sanctums), that's their business.

It's just like Xzorn said, this is no different from buying a challenge carry. If you feel that someone else's ability to buy something devalues what you earn on your own, you should probably just play SSF.
I find it really funny that "devaluing" even came up as a problem when the whole purpose of this OP is to point out that you should NOT be trading them at all.

No trade = no value, so.....no LOSS of value

it was really dumb to add account-bound items in a trade-focused game in the first place
