Fell for a scam build...

After not having fun with my starter I came back to try a build that was shilled by a mid-level creator. The guide and PoB were not great but I was starting off with ~100c and it was a week into league so I assumed the build would be fine. It was abominable even when I put ~6 divines in lol. Baited hard.

Decided to try out a meta build after that (Mathil shockwave totem) and it was 10000x better than the build I was using. Although, if I had tried to league start with it when Astral Projectors were super expensive that would've been bait as well.

The best advice for league start these days just seems to be "just go EA ballista" because nothing can make it not good for league start when Storm Cloud is good enough for everything.

If you want a solid build poe.ninja is all you need. You can literally check the build's progress day by day in the first week and then on a weekly basis. Can't go wrong with this one.

That is way to go if you're knowledgeable player to figure out by yourself how every stat of the build works.
Otherwise that can be painful experience.
