Yeah, that's the essence of it - and that's how it's always been in softcore, and probably how it'll always be. And in an RNG environment, that is also the 'smart' thing to do. But there should always be an alternative to those players that prefer a tankier playstyle, and that actually care about staying alive. And with the defensive options we have these days, it IS more or less possible, unless you demand to be able to facetank everything on a budget.

Looking at your equipment, you are too far from "tanky build" and anyway cant block attack is one of the reasons.

That's exactly what I was thinking. "Cannot block attacks" is far from tanky build, since you will not tank anything successfully. In this game if you play "tank" it's one of the main thing to either block or dodge attacks and have either +% or fixed amount of HP, ES on block or so...since you simply cannot "tank" big damage in this game with just armor and res, unless you are 100k+ armor and use molten shell all the time.

Because it's a good stepping stone until you switch over to the Aegis version. But yeah, RF is still a "tanky" build, even with Saffell's.

jugg doesn't use aegis. in most cases for a jugg this is the endgame shield

I find Dawnbreaker shield + Tasalio's cleansing water forbidden flame/flesh jewels is a great combo for jugg RF.

I was looking at your character and sorry to break it to you but this Juggernaut of yours isn't as tanky as you believe it is.

I only play SSF sanctum league and my Jugg does not get oneshot by that boss.
Maybe Dawnbreaker is the better shield as long as the armour breakpoint on the character is not reached by the way. Unbreakeable only works with a high amount of armour, otherwise your Jugg will break.

I play (relatively) low DPS Righteous Fire and as far as shields go, I try to get something with decent life and extra block along with the +2% to all maximum resistances mod. I also shifted resources away into spell suppression because I was getting killed by lightning towers/mirages, molten orbs, and the occasional strongbox ice nova. I wouldn't mind dropping Saffel's at this point, but I'm unlikely to use it alongside spell suppression.
