Enough fooling around reveal the recipe already.

For those out of the loop, what hints did GGG give so far other than Bex's oh-so-amusing tweet about Summon Skeletons?

Last time we had a recipe hunt, there was a riddle for people to solve, and it wasn't for an item of obvious power but instead a gimmick unique. Seems pretty desperate to me to take something this powerful and lock it away behind a hidden recipe. And of course whoever finds it is going to make bank of it. Do GGG really think it's still 2013 and the community likes to come together to solve these things? Hahahahaha. Wow.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

Nah, its 2023:
you buy the build you want to play from a vendor for 120 divines.

Given that it was discovered on the Chinese server, wouldn't it be possible to find the recipe on their respective forums and making necessary translations?

Only if the person revealed it... They're most likely using it as a free Div-printing machine though... That's how monopolies work, and what GGG should have expected to happen...

High chances that when someone finds it out on this PoE, they'll do the same...

this is the problem of gating very important build enablers/bis/large player power behind recipes.

if its a niche item like onigoroshi, it can be fun to make it hidden.

that said. if anyone found a new "divine" recipe. pretty sure they will not tell anyone.

same with mirrors.

Not that Oni-Goroshi ever had a recipe and its means of acquisition were made public pretty quickly, but yeah. Not that I have a great reservoir of respect for GGG at this juncture but gating a powerful tool behind a recipe *when of course whoever finds it is going to keep it to themselves if it means almost instant wealth*...Look, I don't use this word lightly with GGG, but I think it's genuinely unethical.

The whole jewel rework was another great example of "fixing" something that was not broken.

This build is the reason I'm playing this game. I have had enough of your foolery.

i hope you understand that you cannot 'have had enough' while still actively and intensively playing the game? you are '17' right now

GGG knows that youll play no matter what, so they dont care

thats the problem with threats and bargaining - threats have to be credible. ones coming from people complaining yet still playing several hours a day are kinda.. not credible

btw - im pretty sure they consider this 'recipe quiz' a big success and we will see more of it - it doesnt make people quit, in fact it makes people play more/for longer. win win in their book. quite clever tbh

We will play but will we spend?

Nope. I usually buy supporter packs for the leagues I play. Not this time. This is horseshit, and the twitter hint was insulting.

Add on that they have removed nearly all public facing engagement because they are working on Poe2 and dont want anymore public backlash for purposely making the game even more of a grind fest and pissing people off.

The company that was once a shinning example of player engagement is turning into EA.
Looks like it's been cracked.

Was found but at what cost ?

Where is the enjoy the content the way you like it if we are gated behind doing something stupid that we do not want to do.
Jewels being moved and hid is not something that anyone asked and who gets a recipe faster than everyone else gets rich.

Imagine yourself finding a recipe for Intuitive leap and being the only one in the server for few days who know how to make them.
What is it now ? make 10 a day and sell them for 40 divines each ?
Sorry I pissed you off by sharing. Maybe I shouldn't have then.
