Ruthless Mode gripe

I know this is an "experimental" mode this league, but I feel disabling challenges for it is going to discourage players from playing it.

I personally am very excited for it, and want to main it.... but the fact I won't have the challenge milestones and related rewards to meet seems like a complete slap in the face to those who want to play it.

tbh the one thíng that stops me from ruthless is this league mechanic.

Pretty sure they stated that this is coming but for 3.20 this is a 'beta' ruthless that will hit with the new league and doesnt have the infastructure in place to have challenges (probably need to alter these to account for no movement skills or whatever).

So you will 100% get challenges in this mode in a future league. Side project is not a full priority.

Needs it own seperate rewards I just dont see the point of it id just go ssfhc.

What I think. You play SC, most HC players don't care about challenges. Ruthless is hard mode, and most Ruthless players will be from HC comunity. I know many players from SC want try it, but I'm sure you won't actually play it and will be disappointed. But again it's only my opinion.

Ruthless will likely have challenges in 3.21. 3.20 ruthless is a public beta, so will likely go through big mid league changes and not everything might be available in ruthless. If they enabled challenges in ruthless they would've to lock in challenges early without even knowing what will and what will not be in ruthless. I also wanted to have challenges but I also see it as opportunity to just play whatever and see how far I can go without worrying about doing challenges for a league.

I very much look forward to playing some ruthless after I'm done with the league, don't care & never cared about achievements. The achievement is getting a given boss to 0% hp.

if someone plays Ruthless for challenges they're playing it for the wrong reason (not the challenge obviously)

Granted it a weird choice since achievements should be much harder in ruthless, not easier.

But who cares, if you really play to show off your achievement number to people you dont know on the internet for a sense of validity, then I respectfully, non-mockingly suggest you may want to focus that energy on real life achievements and goals.

I'm only going to play it when I'm done with the league.

It would have been really good to throw this league out there a month ago, because I've been bored forever. Certainly wouldn't league start for it but I would have played it a lot now while waiting for the new league.
