Loot Goblin still in the game

The "calling in a culler" was only half of the problem.
It was definitely the bigger problem. At the end of a day a game needs to be fun and that sounded like the most tedious, unfun thing you could do.
I don't disagree. I was just commenting on all of the responses saying "mf has always been in the game, nothing's changed", which is clearly not true.

Currency lootsplosions will still happen, albeit at a lower frequency, as long as the currency conversion mod exists. And as long as currency lootsplosions happen, players will complain about loot goblins.

The problem with "loot goblin" wasn't that it existed, but that it forced you to equip items which you did not want to use or have another person join your map to do the ritual. These don't exist anymore in any higher form than before the "loot goblin".

Well actually nobody was forced to equip any mf or what so ever. You make it sound like it was mandatory which isn't true. The entire "loot goblin" issue was nothing more but a artificial fomo problem made up by the community.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
It is true given fomo. Some people apparently can't run their maps if they don't have the potential to make the most out of it.
Why you all crying about loot, look back a few leagues, there is way MORE loot per map for average plaeys.

The "calling in a culler" was only half of the problem.

The other half of the problem is the loot conversion mechanic that converts dropped gear into currency based on rarity. That didn't exist before AN and it's still in the game after AN.

Every time you kill a surprise loot-conversion mob and drop 3 chaos and a regal you'll know it could have been 3 exalted and a divine, literally hundreds of times better, if you had just been wearing MF gear. This situation has never existed in the PoE MF meta before.

This is either lying or just completely unaware of MFing. The clips you saw in previous patches of people dropping multiple Headhunters in a single map were not done without MF equipment.

Everything in this game is nothing more but a artificial fomo problem made up by the community - it doesn't mean anything.

Neither. Increased Item Rarity never had an effect on currency drops until AN, specifically the "Dropped items are converted to currency based on Rarity" mod that Lunaris|Solaris|Shakari Touched mobs have. While the labels "Lunaris Touched" and the like are being removed, the mod itself is not.

That IIR can affect currency drops, even if rarely, is a fundamental difference in MF than before AN. It is literally the source of the "loot goblin" phenomenon.

And that is why you need to modify your argument of "MFING" to "IIR" because MFing was very popular with IIQ, IIR was also used a lot; there were even big threads about bots buying IIR items in hordes to farm items.

Players were still very much aware that farming Burial Chambers without MF gear and z00m wr00m is going to lose them out big time. Same as in 3.20.

Sure, I'll conceded that there are as many definitions of "MFING" as there are players. Your definition may be different than mine. Whatever.

The point still stands, though, that the very thing that was introduced new with AN mods that produced the "loot goblins" is still in the game, and affects the game in a way that's different than before it existed. Call that MF, not MF, whatever.
