The on death effects, the exploding balls, the obelisks from hidden mobs and a few other things.

I love the game, I enjoyed Kalandra mechanic etc. I'm talking about for general gameplay like mapping or whatever, there are just too many things you can't prepare for.

Last HCSSF character was my tanky boy and he got killed by who knows what. lvl 83 just running a T2 map for syndicate, I killed a NORMAL white mob, hovered over some loot and I just died from some bullshit on the ground. Not even a mod or special enemy. So what is the point of spending days leveling just to be killed by nothing?

You just keep adding more and more stuff that explodes or follows you that you can't target or do anything to. Stop it.

If you are already reacting like that, it would be good to enable the forum guests to see your HCSSf character and to concretely point out the possible problem.

What do you mean, already? I've played this game on and off since the open beta way back and rarely do I find reason to make a serious complaint. Take it or leave it but the passive aggressive bitching is pointless.
One way I would have lived would be to have way more +Strike Range, but it was SSF and I chose to max block and spell block.

I thought you could allow your HSSF character to be seen (in your account settings), maybe that would help!?

the orbs have not been ingame for 9 years, Unless some joke wooshed over my head that im missing. Nemesis was never this bad Archnemesis is.

volatile would be guaranteed death every time u killed it, so i beg to differ, unlike the orbs now which you can actualy avoid by being skillfull

I agree these things should be removed. They don't add interesting skill-testing; all they do is require you to run around a lot of the time.

They're worse for me; because this game doesn't handle its graphics well, resulting in lag spikes or missing graphics, which makes these things quite more problematic and deadly. There's no reason they couldn't make these things work fine even on low end computers; given how it's nothing fundamentally complicated, i'ts not like corpse exploding nithlathak is all that different.

I think the bigger problem with these things is that there's too many 'you must move mechanics' that hurt melee; while there's very few 'dont move' mechanics.

It's uninteresting to run around after all the monsters are dead also; but now you sometimes have to keep running around for several seconds.

It's also not like you have to juke; in a game like dota there's some skill involved in juking, and especially in league of legends you're not just running around, you're dodging skill shots. That makes the running around more interesting and thoughtful; whereas here everything just aims straight for you and running around in a circle is sufficient.
Not a fan of these effects, but meh.
The new Heralds of the Obelisk suck hard, though.

This goes hand-in-hand with the other great lazy-man's solution, "tight tethers".

1. Make it so noobs gotta run around a lot
2. Tie their shoelaces together. Lolwtfbbqwned~

ezpz instant challenge.

Those arguing that these effects have been in the game for years, nonsense. He's complaining about the AN mods. Those have been in the game only a few months.

The only one that is really overtuned is Herald of the Obelisk

The others are fairly telegraphed and much more fair than the old volatiles.

Although they are an indirect and HEAVY nerf/problem to close range melee chars.

But really... the volatile balls that follow you are the easiest and most fair of all those mechanics. If you are having problems with them you just need to move.

Besides lightning mirage and obelisks everything else seems to give you enough time to react.
OP also mentioned HCSSF. So idk, that mode is really reserved for the professionals. Might just be something missing from your build.

For your achievements though you havent killed Excarch or Eater quest level since they have been introduced to the game so, if you ask me, you aren't prepared for that mode if you cant even do that. No maven ever either, not sure how you are getting your voidstones, doesn't look like you have any at this point.

So your experiences you are having are at the very low end of progression.

Just going a bit further you've never really played this game at a high level past maybe maps from the conqueror 32 watch stone days. But even then never killed Sirus or basic Shaper so I dunno. You play pretty conservatively in terms of any sense of progression.

Really cant be at this level and expect to succeed in HCSSF. Like what you are doing is the equivalent of not learning Algebra or Trig, and trying to do Calculus. You just dont have the tools or experience it seems under your belt to handle this level.

You for your thank time.

You can insult and diss me all you want, fact is you are complaining that I haven't completed something only a super low percentage of players actually get around to, and it has nothing to do with my complaints. Do you understand that there are older, slower and even disabled people who play this game?

The very end game of POE has become a thing where players just follow a guide like a mindless NPC and then brag about it, but you didn't achieve anything.
I would never read a guide or follow a pre-made build and I have never complained that I don't reach the end of the game, because I don't care. It's just a time-sink at the end of the day. I do care about the acts, mapping and lower tier stuff that anyone can enjoy.
If I ever complain about not getting to the end game you can copy-paste your ready made retorts that I'm sure is your own opinion and not something you've been told to think.
