Challenge league if you do not do challenges

Never saw the draw of challenges.

A few are actually difficult, but most are either just grind it out or do certain types of content.

Jump through these specific hoops just because we wrote the hoops down on a list?

Shall I run in a circle 5000 times as well?

No thanks.

Even if you do difficult content, does that mean you are good or you have a credit card?

SSF has merits but then it locks out certain mechanics and builds that you may simply never see drop.

Delve depth was a good metric when everyone was doing delve, now I am not sure there is a simple way to determine game knowledge in one single metric.
When I have played in leagues, I haven't been all that concerned with challenges. Sure, I got the little dopamine rush whenever I got another point just by playing the game, but many of the challenges felt too much like work, and by work, I mean, networking/trading/carries BS which aren't my idea of fun.

That's why I liked old-school racing. There was never any question of what you had to do or how to do it. You had to be fast, and you had to be good, or at least lucky enough not to die. And you could "win" at several levels of player skill. I was never a "top tier" racer, but I came away with plenty of prizes, and that was good enough for me. League challenges? Many relate to content I wouldn't bother engaging with under normal circumstances, let alone chase down.

Just make the league mechanic interesting, and I might play. But not for the challenges. ='[.]'=

When I play the challenge leagues, I almost always do it for the league-specific content. I don't care about the economy, nor for the challenges themselves.

When/if I get bored with the league-specific content, I'll return to Standard to play my long-term characters or to experiment.
