+1
- more players active, since I don't care.
And before you wonder... I don't play on this account.

Many of the Challenges are RNG based, so I wouldn't call them challenges.

I don't even look at the challenges, I just play till I've had my fill one way or another.

Challenge league reads as: Fresh Start + New League Mechanic to me

There are different types and tiers of challenges.
Pure Boss fights for mechanical skill checks (and gear), pure grind&luck ones that test your patience.

What types do you mean?

Challenges are pretty hollow as most of them aren't challenging, you play SSF afaik so at least get an honest experience with them but most high challenge players you see buy a substantial number of them.

People play leagues for the fresh economy and access to league content, most of the fun aspect from drops and trade come from fresh scenarios and standard is as rotten as it comes in that regard. Also the trade population play leagues which means you have to play leagues if you want to buy/sell anything.

Basically the only reason this stands up as a question is if you play SSF or simply don't have time, anybody else has no reason to play standard over league its just a worse experience with less content.
- Fresh Economy
- A reason to try new things
- Fuzz; people coming back to play
- Chatting and discussing builds and changes with guildies.
- Experiencing the new league mechanics from level 1
- Experiencing the changes, and explore how the changes interact with your strats and plating style.
- Learning how to best "attack" new METAs.

Like to see new things, even if they are meh like this league. When so underwhelmed, I stop playing.
You can also look at it from the other side. Why play Standard? Virtually all builds in Standard eventually get wrecked. You either have to keep playing a wrecked build, or start a new one. If you are going to start a new character anyway, you might as well play a league.

I don't think this thread has anything to do with standard. It's just "I'm better than you at doing challenges" thread, while he's hoping for someone to play the trading card, so he can counter with his SSF card.
