But since auras grant too much raw stats power they become basically mandatory for most builds.
General mapping like in alch & go should become more comfortable again. Like a thing you can do after a hard day of work and actually RELAX a bit while playing. I was always able to do this and make some EX and farm some boss invites during the week. Then on weekend I run my bosses and do more juiced content.
Now EVEN when running the map blue (...) I get so much crap thrown at my face that just makes me angry. Again, being tired after a hard day of work makes me have low tolerance for Bullcrap.

tl;dr reduce damage spikes and/or have them reserved for higher juiced content. Also reduce the on death and ground effects by 90% having to run a narrow corridor and every mob in front of me spews some ground degen I have to sit out makes me glance over to the Alt and F4 button.

I usually delete my characters to repurpose names that I just genuinely like, hence why you don't see all the characters.

Also, Wild Strike being considered meta is an omega lul if I've ever seen one.

Besides that, I played Spectre based Necromancer into red late yellow tier maps before it died to Atziri (Argueablly, that was a struggle.)

A HIT based self shooting Explosive arrow raider (died in Lake 90+)

Toxic Rain I SUPPOSE could be considered meta, even if it's played by 0.6% according to poe.ninja.

I also tried poet's pen this league, played it into white tier maps, but found the playstyle and the spectacle rather meh and thus just went back to EA totems (Hence why Rablushy and Rabrushy are pretty much the same)

But I mean, I can see how evidence would stack against me

Meta is not about how many people play the build in this league. Its about how powerfull and easy the main skill is and how easy is to scale its damage with mediocre items.
The more the merry. We need to make a stand dont give them any money, stop playing and supporting the game. Force their hand :)

There there is still 40 levels of progression to space out across the Atlas.

Right now the Atlas is so big that if you had gradual improvement you would be lvl 100 on white maps.

The issue there is there needs to be improvement outside character leveling.

Campaign ending at level 70 is not a problem...
what is a problem is path to gear upgrades that are next to impossible if you don't trade and play 24/7 to get the currency for it...

Until GGG decides to make trade optional and add deterministic crafting currencies, it is indeed bye bye PoE...

Other problem is as said before, you need basically every immunity to not die and then you're outpowered and incapable of killing monsters. There is an obvious balance problem between monster health and player power.

But hey, it is not like they have taken out 80% of player power to gate it behind late endgame in 3.14 -> 3.18.... (Ooops, they did !!)

POE nowadays is shitty loot for casual play with exponential loot scaling possibilities to give hardcore players and min maxers 10 to 100 times the amount of loot that casual players get.

Why should I play a game casually if I know that everything I find in a month can be found be an optimized MF group within a day or a few hours?

This. The rest of your rant all comes down to the fact that you LOSE progress when you get murdered again and again. Honestly, I don't mind getting murdered by a surprise combination of archnemesis traits, what I DO care about is that it costs me the last hour of xp grinding, setting me back to square one.

If they remove xp penalty, then at least you could feel like you are making SOME progress, even if you're not getting good drops. Take away the xp gains and now you feel like you really did make zero progress whatsoever.

XP penalty is really the only problem with this game, the whole Archnemesis 'problem' is only a catalyst for it. Although I can see why Hardcore players would be extra pissed about Archnemesis... but that's a different game, just don't click hardcore unless you want to feel that rage.

But no... we ALL get to feel that rage... because of the stupid xp penalty.
